Dear TGS Families:

As the spring semester winds down and students begin thinking about vacations or internships or heading off to college, we find ourselves reminding them to “finish strong.” This sentiment extends beyond our students to The Gregory School as a whole, energizing us to complete our academic year and our fiscal year with strength. With this in mind, I want to ask all of you, if you have not already, to please make a gift to The Gregory School annual fund.

Participation matters most, and every gift of any amount has impact for our students, for our teachers, and for the health of our school. As is typical with private schools, our tuition covers 64% of a Gregory School education, or the cost of the salaries and benefits for our stellar faculty.

Donors to the annual fund help pick up where tuition leaves off, providing our students with the facilities, materials and equipment, community connections, athletics, and travel they need to solve real problems, build collaborations, pursue passions, and actively experience their own education.

Donations to the annual fund in any amount increase our participation percentage, a crucial factor in helping us secure grant and foundation funding and attract prospective faculty and staff. 100% of our faculty, staff and board of trustees support the annual fund.

Donations may be made by check, payable to The Gregory School, or on-line with a credit card.

Dr. Julie Sherrill has spent over 20 years in educational leadership. Her academic credentials include an M.S. in Education Administration and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in Curriculum Development and Teacher Professional Development.

The Gregory School is a place that is transforming learning and transforming students' lives. Gregory students lead institutions, they found movements, they invent technology, they run cities. Students leave TGS with a sense of agency; they believe they can change the world for the better and it is our aim to ensure we give them the knowledge, skills, experiences and confidence to do so.
