The School Year is Taking Off!

August 30, 2019Newsroom teacher collage

Dear TGS Families:

It is a pleasure to reach out to you as we complete the third week of the 2019-20 academic school year. Thank you for the impressive turnout for both the Middle School and Upper School Curriculum Nights!  It is always important to have you meet our extraordinary faculty members and begin to develop relationships with them while learning about their expectations for your child. Whether exploring global economies and international trading policies, 20th century literature, or the principles of physics, each of our teachers bring forth their own unique personalities and teaching styles to their professional practice. We appreciate very much your investment of time and effort on those special evenings.

As I stood outside Zeskind Hall to say good-bye to families heading home after the Upper School Curriculum Night, it was delightful to hear comments like, “I wish I’d had the opportunity to attend The Gregory School,” and “Could I audit some of these classes?”  One family, who had several years of experience in our middle school, approached me and said something to the effect of, “We knew the middle school faculty were excellent but didn’t know what to expect this year. The upper school faculty we met this evening are equally impressive. What an outstanding team you have assembled here.”

It is with daily gratitude that we work with your amazing children. Thank you for your investment, your trust, and your confidence in knowing that The Gregory School difference will indeed support your child’s continued trajectory toward a long life of learning and creative exploration!

We look forward to communicating with you next week about our Friday Exploration programming and the types of learning experiences you and your children can expect during the first semester.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you ever have questions or concerns about your child’s experience at The Gregory School. Our team of professionals are here to ensure that we provide your family with the best experience possible. (And thank you all for reminding your children to wear their Gregory School shirts today!)

With appreciation,
