Rachna Shroff, '96

Rachna (Trivedi) Shroff, ’96 - After traversing the country from Brown University to Jefferson Medical College to Washington University in St. Louis, Rachna (Trivedi) Shroff finally settled down in the hot (and muggy) climate of Houston, Texas. She is an assistant professor in gastrointestinal medical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where her clinical and research focus is on novel treatments for pancreatic and biliary tract cancers. Her husband, Puneet, is an allergist and immunologist in practice and they have two children. Their daughter, Simran, 6, is constantly campaigning to move to Tucson because of her love for jumping cholla, and their son, Sachin, 2, supports her, because it involves flying on a plane to get there.
